As one of Toronto’s top chefs, Brad Long has always been a proponent of local, organic, and sustainable food – but what does any of that really mean? Now Brad is on a mission to find out. The Long Way Around, a 3 part documentary series, focuses on those 3 big words as we follow Brad to talk to farmers, chefs, researchers, politicians, and families about our food, how it grows, and the jargon that surrounds it. But Brad is about more than just talk, with the help of his wife Sheryl, their four young daughters and newborn son, Brad will attempt to grow food for his family and to supply produce to Vertical and Veritas, two of Toronto’s top rated restaurants.
